The grievance of petitioner is confined to incorrect and wrong pay fixation, besides the arbitrary action of the respondents in extending the admissible pay scale to other identically situated person, but in case of the petitioner, discrimination has been caused. For redressal of the grievance, the petitioner has filed a detailed representation before the respondent no. 3, the copy of which is placed on record as Annexure 5 to the writ petition.

3. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner superannuated from the post of police subinspector on 31.01.2025, however despite repeated request, his

4. Learned Advocate for the State submits that since the representation has been filed on 04.06.2025, the same shall be considered by the concerned authorities and bring to its logical conclusion.

5. Having regard to the limited grievance of the petitioner, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent no. 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass a reasoned and speaking order, considering the facts that the case of the petitioner is based on parity, preferably within a period of 12 weeks' from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

6. The writ petition stands disposed.
