The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 302 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant named seven persons and alleged that they all assaulted her daughter with knife. It appears that informant is not an eye witness of the occurrence. Similarly situated accused Binod Uraon, Pinki Kumar, Bhola Uraon and Paro Devi have already been enlarged on bail. The petitioner is in jail since 18.07.2013 and he has already remained in jail for more than two years. The trial is not likely to conclude and only three witnesses are examined till date.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23422 of 2015 (3) dt.22-09-2015 2/2 is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Katihar in S. T. No. 532/13 arising out of Falka (Pothia) P.S. Case No. 86/11.
