This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Paharpur P.S. Case No. 64 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 427, 307, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Witch (Daain) Practices Act. The allegation against the petitioners is that they assaulted the informant's side after some dispute had taken place. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against all the petitioners and the injury report would show that the injury is simple in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.62196 of 2017 (2) dt.11-01-2018 2/2 nature. It is further submitted that the petitioners have clean antecedent.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioners above named, in the even of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Paharpur P.S.
