JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-09-2024 Heard Mr. Yogesh Chandra Verma, learned Senior counsel, along with Mr. Vishal Vikram Rana and Ms. Misha Bharti, learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Braj Kishore Pd., learned APP appearing on behalf of the State.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to modify the order dated 11.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.58020 of 2023, by which, the petitioner was directed to be released on pre-arrest bail subject to the condition in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned District Court within a period of four weeks. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner could not surrender before the

3. Considering the statement and information contained in modification application, I find that there is sufficient ground to modify the order dated 11.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.58020 of 2023 by further extending the period of surrender and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned District Court on or before 26.09.2024.

4. The order dated 11.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.58020 of 2023 is modified to the aforesaid extent.

5. The other parts of the order shall remain intact.

6. Accordingly, the present modification application stands disposed of.
