The petitioner is languishing in custody since 26.08.2013 in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 289 of 2013 for the offences instituted under Section 366(A)/34 of the I.P.C. The accusation is of kidnapping the minor daughter of the informant by the accused persons.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 26.08.2013 and the charge has been framed on 25.02.2014. The allegation is that the petitioner is involved in abduction of the minor girl of the informant. It is further submitted that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24971 of 2015 (3) dt.02-09-2015 2/2 On behalf of the State it has been submitted that the charge has already been framed in the case and it is at the stage of trial.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in connection with Sessions Trial no. 1487 of 2013/ 558 of 2014, arising out of Danapur P.S. Case No. 289/2013, pending in the court of the learned Vth Additional District and Sessions Judge, Danapur, Patna. The same is rejected. Anyhow, the court below is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
