This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed by the petitioner for quashing the First Information Report bearing Agiaon P.S. Case No.89 of 2016 dated 01.10.2016 registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act and Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that due to efflux of time the stage of the case has changed and the
