JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 24-02-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State through virtual Court proceedings. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove the defects within a period of four weeks. In the eventuality of non-removal of defects within stipulated period, the office will place the matter before the Bench.
The present application has been filed for modification of order dated 08.04.2021, passed in Cr. Misc. No.36302 of 2020 to the extent of extending the period of surrender, as the petitioner could not furnish bail bond within time. For substantial justice and on the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the period to surrender for the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59540 of 2021(2) dt.24-02-2022 2/2 petitioner named above is extended by six weeks from today, in connection with Complaint Case No.2543 of 2018 (Trial No.2698 of 2019), pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Hajipur, Vaishali, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) in the Victim Compensation Fund and shall produce receipt of the same at the time of furnishing of the bail bond.
The order dated 08.04.2021 is modified to the extent as indicated above.
Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
