JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-08-2018 The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondentthe Bihar Animal Science University, Patna, to allow her to appear in the internal examination of 2nd year B.V.Sc. & A.H. going to be held by the University. The petitioner has been debarred from appearing in the said examination on the ground that there is shortage of minimum required attendance for taking the said examination.
2. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that she was seriously ill because of which she could not complete the minimum required attendance. She contends that the University ought to have taken a sympathetic approach and considering the circumstance which compelled the petitioner to

3. This Court cannot compel the University to go against the minimum requirement of attendance for permitting a student to appear in the examination. It is, however, observed that, if the Vice-Chancellor finds it to be permissible, he may consider the petitioner's representation, in this regard.
