Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR reveals that the daughter of the informant (the victim of the dowry death) had entered into love marriage in the year 2012. She was mother of two children. The petitioners, who are father and brother of the husband of the victim and others, bears allegation that they were demanding dowry and for non-fulfillment, death was caused. Submission is that after death of the victim after seven years, false case has been lodged just to pressurize.

No.45369 of 2019(2) dt.25-07-2019 2/2 Considering the general and omnibus nature of allegation and the background of marriage of the victim, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bousi Police Station Case No.08 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
