JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 06-08-2021 Heard Mr. Arun Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Rewati Kant Raman, learned A.C. to Standing Counsel No. 11 for the State through video conferencing.
The petitioner has raised a grievance for payment of differential amount towards interest on Contributory Provident Fund in the light of the decision of the respondent-State at Annexure- "1" to this writ petition dated 27.08.2014 whereby the State Government has decided to pay the employees of D.R.D.A. interest upon their C.P.F. amount equivalent to the interest applicable on G.P.F. paid to the Government employees. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has filed representation in this regard before the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer, D.R.D.A., Nawadah i.e. Respondent No. 4 which is still
Patna High Court CWJC No.2750 of 2021(2) dt.06-08-2021 2/2 pending.
Learned counsel for the State submits that this Court may direct the D.D.C., Nawadah to dispose of the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law in the light of Annxure- "1" to the writ petition.
In view of the submissions made by the parties, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Deputy Development Commissioner -cum- Chief Executive Officer, D.R.D.A., Nawadah / Respondent No. 4 to dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner at Annexure - "2" to the writ application within a period of two months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order. It is made clear that if any amount is found payable to the petitioner towards interest, the same shall be paid within a further period of one month from the date of disposal of the representation.
With aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
