1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 738 of 2022 dated 09.10.2022 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 341,448,323,354(B),385,387,504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The main submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner are that petitioner and informant are co-villagers and at the time of alleged occurrence admittedly a land dispute was running in between them, petitioner and his sons have been made accused in this case but against them there is no specific allegation and against this petitioner there is simple allegation of having threatened the informant but the said

Further submissions are that though against the petitioner there are criminal antecedents of five cases but he has got bail in all the said cases and in the present matter, he has been languishing in jail since 10.03.2023 and against him, the investigation has been completed.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer.

5. Considering the above submissions and mainly the custody period of the petitioner and the completion of investigation against him, this Court is inclined to accept his bail prayer. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail after framing of charge, if the same has not been framed in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 738 of 2022 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
