This is an application for regular bail in connection with Gandhi Maidan P. S. Case No. 449 of 2017 giving rise to G.R. No. 5863 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Section 382 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant in her written complaint has said that while she was going to Tara Hospital on foot, at that time two motorcycle borne miscreants snatched her gold chain. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that he is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He is not named in FIR. His name has surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. No incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. He is in custody since 3.10.2017.
