Petitioner is named in the first information report but according to the informant, it was co-accused, Mohan Yadav, who shot fire at him. Admittedly, the case was initially registered under Sections-307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act but after that, Section302 of the Indian Penal Code was also added.
