The petitioner has been dismissed from the service on account of conviction for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, which has been approved and affirmed up to the level of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. After the conviction, the Authority, in exercise of power under Section 311 (2) of the Indian Penal Code, has passed the order, by which the petitioner has been dismissed from the service.
