The petitioner is in custody in a case registered under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case, in brief, is that Sri Purushottam Pandey, A.S.I. of Sonepur P.S. gave a written report to the Officer-in-Charge on 19.02.2015 informing that on getting secret information he along with other police personnel went to the place of occurrence and on recovery seized 20 litres of country made liquor kept in a rubber tube and destroyed raw materials kept in a drum. On enquiry it is learnt that the land belongs to Sambhu Rai who runs the said 'bhatti' and he managed to fled away from the place on arrival of police. On raid being conducted at other places

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25081 of 2015 (2) dt.21-07-2015 belongs to the co-accused huge quantity of illicit liquor and raw materials have been recovered and seized. On the basis of the said written report Sonepur P.S. Case No. 54 of 2015 has been registered.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 12.04.2015. It is further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedents. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been apprehended by the police due to an election dispute with the Mukhiya of the village.

On behalf of the State it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Saran at Chapra, in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 54 of 2015.
