The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 2.6.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 8412 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing 1 year in custody. It is submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 16.9.2020.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the liberty granted by the aforesaid order dated 2.6.2021 together with the petitioner having

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58478 of 2021(2) dt.06-10-2021 2/2 remained in custody for more than 1 year since 16.9.2020, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Nokha P.S. Case no. 147 of 2018 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Rohtas at Sasaram.
