2. The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioners apprehending their arrest in a case instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 351(1), 352, 115(2), 126(2), 109(1), 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that an altercation had earlier taken place between co-accused Ankush Jha and the informant. A few days thereafter,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49449 of 2026(2) dt.22-07-2026 2/3 the petitioners, along with the other co-accused persons, allegedly surrounded the informant and began abusing him. When the informant protested, co-accused Sagar Jha allegedly directed the others to kill him. Pursuant thereto, co-accused Ankush Jha allegedly assaulted the informant with a knife, causing injuries near his neck. It is further alleged that thereafter all the accused persons, including the petitioners assaulted the informant with fists and slaps.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. They have falsely been implicated in the instant case due to dirty village politics. There is no specific allegation against the petitioners rather the allegation levelled against them are general and omnibus. Specific allegation of assaulting the informant by means of knife is levelled against coaccused Ankush Jha. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioners have clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case as stated above, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. The petitioners are directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of this order and in the event of their arrest or surrender in connection with Manigachhi P.S. Case no. 104 of 2026, they will be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate VI, Darbhanga, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
