The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 130 of 2019 pending in the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge XI-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran at Chapra, for the offence alleged under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 182 pieces, each containing 180 ml, 64 pieces, each containing 375 ml of Indian made foreign liquor recovered from the roof of the petitioner. The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the house from where the alleged illicit liquor is said to be recovered is joint house of the petitioner.
