Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30A of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Country made liquor was allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 25.03.2019. Petitioner has got identical criminal antecedent. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail if the trial is not concluded within six months from the date of framing of the charges on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Barauni (Chakiya) Police

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45055 of 2019(2) dt.23-07-2019 2/2 Station Case No.516 of 2018 (C.J.S. Excise Act Reg. No.644 of 2018), subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
