2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3 . Prosecution case is that 319.2 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from the seized car of which this petitioner is registered owner.

4. It is submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case . The name of the petitioner transpired only on the basis of suspicion Petitioner is not the owner of mango orchard. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. 5 . Learned counsel for the State submits that huge

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46950 of 2025(2) dt.12-08-2025 2/2 quantity of liquor was recovered from the vehicle of which this petitioner is registered owner. Petitioner has got 3 criminal antecedents out of which 2 are of similar nature .

6. Considering the fact that petitioner is owner of the seized vehicle from which huge quantity of illicit liquor was recovered and criminal antecedents of this petitioner, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
