The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Samastipur Muffasil P.S. Case No. 310 of 2021 dated 18.07.2021 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

180.285 litres of liquor in all is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner and from a car and a motorcycle parked in front of the house.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 19.07.2021 and prior to lodging of this case, he was not made accused in any criminal case whatsoever. One of the co-accused person of this case has

Considering the afore-noted facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J. 2nd cum Special Judge Excise, Samastipur in connection with Samastipur Muffasil P.S. Case No. 310 of 2021.
