Petitioners, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Barari (Semapur) P.S. Case No.206 of 2017, registered under Sections 302 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation is that the accused persons killed the wife of Mantu Mahto, one of the accused, by setting fire on her body and she died while undergoing treatment.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are Nanad of the deceased and her husband and both live in their home situated in another village, they were not present at the place of occurrence and the husband is already in custody.

No.14597 of 2018(2) dt.15-03-2018 2/2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioners, namely, Vijay Mahto @ Bablu Mahto and Leela Devi are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-V, Katihar in connection with Barari (Semapur) P.S.
