Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 414 and 413 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner was apprehended with a motorcycle along with co-accused Mritunjay Kumar. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the vehicle was registered in the name of Mritunjay Kumar vide Annexure 2 and 3. However, the owner book was not available at the time of seizure, hence, false case has been lodged. Others have already been allowed bail in this case. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14401 of 2018 (2) dt.13-03-2018 2/2 Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Begusarai (Town) Police Station Case No. 537 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
