The petitioner is accused in connection with Special Case No. 9585 of 2017 arising out of Rail Patna Junction P.S. Case No. 624 of 2017 registered under Section 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016. The accusation is of recovery of 135 pouches each containing 200 ML country made liquor, which was being carried by the petitioner, boarding in the train at Platform No. 10, Patna Junction.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 26.12.2017.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17675 of 2018 (2) dt.29-03-2018 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna, in connection with Special Case No. 9585 of 2017 arising out of Rail Patna Junction P.S. Case No. 624 of 2017. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
