Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. It appears that earlier bail application of the petitioner was twice rejected by this Court vide orders dated 19.8.2016 and 5.7.2017.

Report of the trial court dated 1.3.2021 reflects that seven witnesses have already been examined and only IO is to be examined and the case is likely to be disposed of by 4.3.2021.

It appears that the petitioner is one of the main assailants.

Considering the nature of allegation and the stage of trial, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused. As the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47597 of 2019(5) dt.08-04-2021 2/2 petitioner is in custody since 23.6.2015, trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
