The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No.18 of 2018 (G.R. No.92 of 2018) registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code besides Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The accusation is of apprehending of the petitioner with motorcycle and on search of the motorcycle, 40 bottles, each containing 375 ml. Nepali liquor, 21 bottles, each containing 180 ml. Nepali Liquor, and 147 bottles, each containing 300 ml. Nepali Liquor, were recovered.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Madhubani, in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No.18 of 2018 (G.R. No.92 of 2018).
