The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 43/2019 instituted for the offences under Section 30, 30(a), 38(i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

1058.40 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle which is said to have been brought in the town by the petitioner and six others.

Some of the other accused persons of this case have been granted bail.

The petitioner is in custody since 04.08.2021 and is a person of clean antecedent.

Regard being had to the period of custody of the

No.59215 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 petitioner and taking into account that similarly situated accused persons have been granted bail by different Benches of this Court, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge -II-cum-Special Judge, (Excise Act), Sitamarhi, in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S.
