This is second attempt for grant of bail on behalf of the petitioner, who is in custody in connection with Maker P.S. Case No.50/2016 registered for the offence under Sections 386, 387, 399, 402, 120B of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-b)a, 26/35 of the Arms Act, Sections 3 and 4 of the Explosive Substance Act and Sections 16(1)B, 17,18, 18(A), 19, 20, 38, 39 and 40 of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 03.05.2016 and the case has not proceeded in accordance with law. However, learned counsel for the petitioner admits that the case has already been committed to the court of Sessions.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14274 of 2018(2) dt.14-03-2018 2/2 I am of the opinion that once considering the seriousness of accusation the petition for grant of bail was rejected on merit, there is no reason to entertain the present petition for grant of bail again on the same ground.

The petition again stands dismissed.

However, while dismissing the present petition, it is desirable to observe that the learned court below may take appropriate steps, so that the case may come to its logical end without unnecessary delay.
