The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No.89 of 2015 registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing the deceased, the daughter of the informant, for non fulfillment of the dowry demand. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased. In fact, on the date of occurrence, all the family members including the petitioner were outside the house and only the deceased was present in the house and all of sudden, in course of cooking food,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19607 of 2016 (2) dt.09-05-2016 2/2 firing spread over in the house in which the deceased died regarding which Piprahi P.S. U.D. Case No.82 of 2015 was instituted on 29.11.2015 but with an ulterior motive, the informant, who is the mother of the deceased lodged the present case after six days of the occurrence with false allegation. Moreover, the petitioner is in custody since 24.02.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Vishal Kumar, Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar, District-Sheohar, in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No.89 of 2015.
