JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 02-12-2025 Heard Mr. Dinkar Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Pramod Kumar Pandey, learned APP appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 8 and 10 of the POCSO Act and Section 37(c)(d) of the Bihar Excise Act.

3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that this petitioner made the minor daughter of informant drink some intoxicant due to which she became unconscious.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he made the daughter of informant drink some intoxicant and made her unconscious. Petitioner is principal of the school in which minor daughter of informant was studying.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation and gravity of offence, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
