The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 80 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a), 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Approximately 1300 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle and the petitioner is sought to be prosecuted in this case because he happens to be the cousin of the owner of the vehicle from where recovery has been made. Though the petitioner has been made accused in several cases of similar nature but except for one, he has been granted bail in all other cases.
