JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-12-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Sahebganj P.S. Case No.250 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 323, 324, 332, 353, 307, 427, 504 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Essential Public Service Act.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioners were leading a mob which assaulted the SAP Jawans and the police officers while they were discharging their official duties, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioners.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58437 of 2017 (2) dt.12-12-2017 2/2 Accordingly, Their prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioners surrender and seek bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
