The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 210 of 2021 dated 11.04.2021 instituted for the offences under Section 414 of the I.P.C. and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

355.170 liters of liquor is said to be recovered and two persons were arrested. On their confession, the petitioner has also been made an accused in this case.

The petitioner is in custody since 27.07.2021. In the other cases in which the petitioner was involved, though of the similar nature, he has been granted bail. Regard being had to the nature of accusation which is based on the confession and his period of custody, he is directed

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59806 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 210 of 2021.
