The writ application is disposed off with a direction upon the District Magistrate, Jamui that he has an obligation to convene a meeting of the District Compassionate Appointment Committee and take a decision on the claim of the petitioner, since the Superintendent of Police, Jamui has made a recommendation as far back as on 20th of January, 2016. More than eight months have already elapsed. The Court is surprised that no such meeting has been held so far. A meeting in this regard must be convened and decision must be taken within a period of six weeks
