The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sikandara P.S. Case No.154 of 2016, a case under Sections 147/323/504/304B/120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Submission is that the complaint based F.I.R. would reveal that the victim of dowry death died in the house of her parents. Though there is general and omnibus allegation against the matrimonial relations including the petitioner, who is mother-in-law, that they used to demand dowry and torture for the same.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7013 of 2018 (2) dt.07-02-2018 P2/ above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
