Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is in jail custody since 08.01.2016 and it is alleged that he assaulted the informant's wife with brick as a result whereof informant's wife sustained grievous injury on her eyes. Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the injured is own aunt of the petitioner and as a matter of fact, a quarrel took place between the parties on account of partition dispute and in that course, the injured sustained injury. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Uda Kishunganj, Madhepura in connection with Puraini P.S.
