Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Sarai PS Case No. 199 of 2017, registered under Sections 414 and 120(B) of the IPC and Sections 30(a) and 35(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The allegation in brief is that 2467 litres foreign liquor was seized from the pick-up van and the driver and Khalasi both were apprehended on the spot.

Submission is that the petitioner submits that he is khalasi, he had no knowledge about the liquor and has got fair antecedent. Having considered such volume of recovery, at present the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, if so advised, the petitioner may renew the prayer for bail after two months of framing of the charge. Snkumar/- (Arun Kumar, J.) U T
