The petitioners seek bail in connection with Case No. 182C2/2021 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

150 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle which was occupied by the petitioners and others. The petitioners deny that recovery was from his constructive possession.

Be that as it may, looking at the period of custody of the petitioners which is from 24.07.2021 and that they do not have criminal antecedents, they are directed to be released on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58066 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge 2nd Jamui in connection with Case No. 182C2/2021.
