JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-02-2023 This criminal writ application has been filed for direction to the concerned respondents to give the protection of life and property to the petitioner who is employee of Agriculture Department posted in Koshi Division under Joint Director, Agriculture, Saharsa Division.
In this case counter affidavit has already been filed by the State wherein it is stated that there is State Level Security Committee for redressal of the grievance of petitioner, who is the competent authority to decide the threat perception on the
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.133 of 2021(3) dt.16-02-2023 2/2 petitioner's life and property and accordingly provide security to the petitioner after verifying the threat perception on the basis of supporting material.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner is directed to approach before the State Level Security Committee for redressal of his grievance within a period of four weeks from today, if such petition is filed within the stipulate period, the Committee shall dispose of the same in accordance with law by a speaking and reasoned order. With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
