2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 224 of 2025 dated 17.05.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Section 306 of the B.N.S.
3. As per the prosecution case, it is alleged that the petitioner, who works as an Accountant at 'Lakadi Kola Sight', came with Rs. 14,56,000/- to Lal Kothi but instead of depositing the same amount, he fled away with the said money.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the

It is further submitted that the petitioner tried to deposit the money at the company but due to delay in depositing the money he went from there to Durgapur, where unfortunately his brother-in-law died due to accident and his family members were nervous, so he could not deposit the alleged money and his intention was not wrong, later on, he has surrendered entire money before company after knowing about the case. It is further submitted that the said amount has been recovered except Rs. 6200/- and he is ready to deposit the same as stated in para-11 of the bail petition. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody in this case since 18.05.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Banka in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 224 of 2025.
