2. The petitioner apprehend his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2022. 3.

As per the prosecution case, total 25 litres of illicit country made liquor was recovered from the place of occurrence.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Local Chowkidar had disclosed the name of the petitioner. Petitioner has three criminal antecedent of similar nature in which he is on bail.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59302 of 2024(3) dt.03-10-2024 2/2 prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submits that petitioner was indulged in business of illicit liquor. 6.

Considering the huge quantity of recovery of illicit liquor and criminal antecedent, this anticipatory bail petition stands rejected.
