The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Case No. 176c3 Ex/2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
Regard being had to the fact that 20 litres of country made liquor and 200 kgs. of Mahua have been recovered from the animal house belonging to the petitioner, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3773 of 2021(2) dt.29-07-2021 2/2 The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the court below and seeks bail, that shall be considered on its own merits, without being prejudiced by the fact that the present petition on his behalf has not been entertained by this Court.
