The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Birpur P.S. Case No.27 of 2016 registered under Sections 414 and 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Regard being had to the recovery of stolen motorcycle from possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him bail for the present. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
The learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Birpur, Supaul, is directed to frame charges against the petitioner forthwith and proceed with the trial on day-to-day basis. In case the trial is not concluded within seven months from the date of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21719 of 2016 (2) dt.19-05-2016 2/2 framing of charge, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
