The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 386,307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant named Nandan Singh and three unknown persons and alleged that they had come for extortion. Nandan is said to have fired.

It is submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. The police arrested the petitioner on mere suspicion and took his confessional statement and except the confession the police did not collect any further evidence nor put the petitioner on T. I. parade. The petitioner is in jail since 09.04.2015 and he has already remained in jail for more than four months.
