JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-11-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Makhdumpur P. S. Case No. 222 of 2018, disclosing offence under Section 395 of IPC. As per complaint case, some miscreants have intercepted the vehicle of the informant, damaged his vehicle and assaulted him, snatched away Rs.45-46 thousands. Petitioner is not not named in the F.I.R. His name transpired in the confessional statement of the co-accused. Apart from that he is accused in three other cases of similar type. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that except confessional statement, there is nothing against the petitioner.

Having heard both sides, in such type of cases,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51521 of 2019(3) dt.18-11-2019 2/2 custodial interrogation is required, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. With the aforesaid, this application is dismissed. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) Sunil Shukla/- U T
