The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kochadhaman P.S. Case No. 228 of 2021 dated 10.08.2021 instituted for the offence under Sections 272, 273 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 32, 41 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

94 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle which is owned by the petitioner and was being driven by him at the time of raid.

The petitioner is in custody since 11.08.2021. He is said to have been made accused in two other criminal cases before the lodging of the subject FIR but those

Regard being had to the period of custody of the petitioner and the nature of offence, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, II, Special Judge (Excise), Kishanganj in connection with Kochadhaman P.S. Case No. 228 of 2021.
