JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-05-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the poor petitioner prays for issuance of appropriate order/orders, direction/directions or writ/writs, preferably in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent authority concerned, in particularly the Respondent Block Development Officer, Banma Ithahri, District-Saharsa (Respondent No.6) to defreeze the bank account of petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.12649 of 2022(2) dt.02-05-2023 2/3 bearing A/C No. 1007771010001620 of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank, BranchSonbarsa Raj, which has illegally been freezed by the bank in pursuant to letter No. 613-2 issued by the Respondent No.6 and further to direct the Respondent No.6 not to harass the petitioner who has continuously been threatening the petitioner that "if he failed to deposit/return back the Pradhammantri Awas amount of Rs.80,000/- which was wrongly credited in his bank account because the said amount was for other beneficiary namely Sanjay Yadav S/o Kamleshwar Yadav having bank A/C No.

458618210014144, but the same was credited in bank account of the petitioner due to mistake committed by Awas Sahayak, strict legal action will be taken against him by way of issuing several notices in this regard, whereas the fact remains that the amount in question was rightly credited in the bank account of the petitioner after verifying all the status of petitioner being applicant of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, whose name is found placed at serial No. 347 of the beneficiary list of PMAY, despite that the Respondent Block Development Officer is threatening

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
