Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 4 and 40 of the Bihar Minor Mineral Concessions Act, 1972 and Section 8 of the Bihar Minerals Transportation of Illegal Mining, Storage and Prevention Act, 2003.

Allegation is that the petitioner fled away leaving the tractor which was carrying sand after illegal mining. Considering the nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Chiksaura Police

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13554 of 2018 (2) dt.09-03-2018 2/2 Station Case No. 106 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
