2. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner being an accused in a case bearing Special Case No. 140 of 2020 arising out of Ghoswari
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1298 of 2023(2) dt.20-06-2024 2/2 P.S. Case No. 33 of 2020 is facing trial since 2020.
3. He further submits that the accused has the right of speedy trial and he only wants a direction to the trial Court to the effect that the trial shall be concluded at the earliest.
4. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to this.
5. Considering the same, this application is disposed of and the Special Judge, SC/ST Act, Patna is directed to conclude the trial of the petitioner within nine months from the date of receipt/communication of a copy of this order in the Court below.
