2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 405 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420, 414 120B of the IPC.

3. As per the F.I.R., there has been recovery of five stolen motorcycles and two persons, namely Ravi Kumar and Dhiraj Singh were apprehended with a stolen motorcycle. The name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statements of both Ravi Kumar and Dhiraj Singh both. There is no recovery from the possession of petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

His implication in this case is solely based on the so called confession statements of Dhiraj Singh and Ravi kumar before the police, and except that, there is no material against the petitioner to connect the him with the alleged incident. Moreover, the petitioner has clean antecedents.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the clean antecedents of the petitioner as well as his implication being based on the alleged confessional statements, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M Saran at Chapra in connection with Marhowrah P.S. case no. 405 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS as well as the following conditions: (i) One of the bailors shall be a close family member of the petitioner.

(ii) Non-cooperation during investigation/trial or
